Will be manufactured in Turkey.

Following the launch of the Fiat Egea sedan in November, reportedly, Fiat will introduce the hatchback version, which will reach showrooms in Q1 2016.

A Fiat spokesperson has stated that the Egea hatchback will be “frugal, well-built and a practical car”.

The Fiat Egea hatchback will likely serve as the successor to the Fiat Bravo, and has been spotted testing in Europe. Fiat brand chief Olivier Francois had stated that the Egea hatchback will be “frugal, well-built and a practical car,” positioned alongside the Panda.

The car's engine lineup will be borrowed from the Fiat Egea sedan, which may include a 1.4-liter petrol engine with 95 PS, 1.6 E.torQ producing 110 hp, 1.3 Multijet II capable of 95 PS and a 1.6 Multijet II with 120 hp. Transmission options are a 6-speed manual gearbox or an automatic unit.

The front-end of the Fiat Egea HB will look largely identical to the Fiat Egea sedan.

The Fiat Egea will also spawn an estate version, which could debut alongside the hatchback in 2016.
