Fiat Linea prices slashed by up to INR 77,000
Fiat's ageing sedan will continue through 2017 with more appealing prices.
FCA India has announced realignment of pricing of the Fiat models, as a result of which the Fiat Linea has gotten cheaper by up to INR 77k. Five models of the Fiat Linea have seen a significant price reduction for 2017. The new pricing was effective on 2 January, 2017.
The Fiat Linea is available in three trim levels: Active, Dynamic and Emotion. The Linea Active 1.4 petrol is INR 57,126 cheaper now and costs INR 7,25,000*. The Linea Emotion 1.4 TJet petrol's price has been lowered by INR 56,747 to INR 9,90,000*. The Linea Active 1.3 Multijet diesel costs INR 29,570 lesser with a revised MSRP of INR 8,70,000*. The Linea Dynamic 1.3 Multijet diesel is now priced at INR 9,40,000*, INR 55,407 lower than last year. The Linea Emotion 1.3 Multijet with the biggest price cut of INR 77,121 retails at INR 9,99,000*.
The Fiat Linea is available with three engine options. The base engine is the 1.4-litre F.I.R.E four-cylinder petrol unit that produces 90 PS at 6,000 rpm and 115 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm. Moving up, there's the 1.4-litre T-Jet four-cylinder engine that develops 125 PS at 5,000 rpm and 208 Nm of torque at 2,000-3,500 rpm. For those preferring diesel option, there's the 1.3-litre MultiJet four-cylinder engine that delivers 93 PS at 4,000 rpm and 209 Nm of torque at 2,000 rpm. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard.

Automatic headlamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome exhaust tip, keyless entry, cruise control, two-tone dashboard, 5-inch Smart Tech AVN infotainment system with navigation, automatic climate control and rear AC vents are some of the key features of the Fiat Linea.
