The Fiat Punto facelift that was missing at the 2014 Auto Expo, has been spotted testing ahead of its launch in the second half of the year. The Punto's elder sibling, the Fiat Linea facelift, launches in India tomorrow.

These spyshots of the Fiat Punto facelift are courtesy of Mr. Vishal Gaurav from Team Fiat Motor Club Facebook. The test mule was spotted on Fergusson College road in Pune.

The Punto facelift features a new front with different headlamps, bumper and foglamps. The profile of the car is similar to the current Punto but for its new alloy wheels, while the rear fascia mirrors its European counterpart with new reflectors on the bumper and new detailing on the high-mount stoplights.

The interior of the 2014 Fiat Punto is vastly different from the current version with a newly designed dashboard featuring a curvy center console, new instrument cluster and circular air vents.

No changes will be seen to the mechanical side of the car with the 1.3-liter diesel engine (in 75 bhp and 90 bhp outputs) and 1.2-liter (68 bhp) and 1.4-liter (90 bhp) petrol motors being retained.
