Will replace the Fiat Bravo, reportedly.

Along with the Tipo sedan, FCA will also introduce a hatchback body-style, which is expected to be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. Based on spyshots, Passione Auto Italiane has posted a rendering of its rear end, giving an idea as to what it could look like.

The Fiat Tipo hatchback is expected to be unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show.

The front-end will look identical to the Fiat Tipo sedan, featuring a long mesh grille, sleek headlamps, muscular hood and foglamps. It's the rear half of the hatchback where things start to differ. The taillights are large, horizontal and look inspired by Alfa Romeo models.

The interior is also likely to be similar to the sedan sibling, and will be a step-up from that of the Fiat Bravo. It gets a flowing dashboard with silver trim, lower button count, a new multifunction steering wheel, and a 5-inch UConnect infotainment system.

The Fiat Tipo hatchback will borrow its engine lineup from the sedan, which includes 90 PS 1.3-liter and 120 PS 1.6-liter Multijet diesel engines. Customers seeking a petrol variant could get the 1.6-liter E-Torq option or a 1.4-liter 'FIRE' engine. A 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic will serve as its gearbox options.
