Fiat Brazil has launched a commemorative 'Grazie Mille' (an expression that means "thanks a lot" in Italian) series for the Uno. The limited edition marks the end of the long-lived first gen Uno, which was a top seller in India briefly in the 90s.

Fiat is forced to retrieve the Uno from Brazil after a 25-year inning as a new vehicle law that comes into place on the Jan 1, 2014 requires all new passenger cars to be fitted with ABS and Airbags.
