The first locally produced dual-tone Kicks has a sunset orange gloss roof with white exterior color. The paint process takes about 6 hours, and employs 10 robots that take turns with specialized painting techniques. It is available as an option in the top-end SL grade, and more color combinations are likely to be introduced soon on limited edition models, a few of which were put up for a vote on Nissan's social media handles.

Nissan had introduced a SV Limited grade of Kicks at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show this month, which slots below the SL grade currently sold. It is now launched for sale in Brazil at BRL 84,900, around BRL 5,000 less expensive than the Kicks SL. It loses features like Around View Monitor, side and curtain airbags, and leather upholstery.
