KTM India will offer its entry-level, fully-faired motorcycle, the RC125, in two colour options – Orange and White. The company had released the images of the orange bike with the press release. Now, it has released a photograph of the white coloured RC125.

Both paint options feature black coloured chassis and orange wheels. An identical combination is used on the 125 Duke naked roadster, while the bigger RC series bikes – the RC200 and the RC390 – use an orange frame. The graphics, too, are identical on both the paint options. The white paint option looks more appealing. A black paint option would have made an excellent addition to the colour palette, but that does not look in sight for the near future.
ArrayRegular readers would know that KTM launched the RC125 in the Indian market earlier this week (19 June) at INR 1.47 lakh*. The bookings for the KTM 125 cc model in the Indian market have commenced throughout the country. The KTM RC125 competes with the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0 that retails at INR 1,39,680* (INR 1,41,680* in the Darknight colour).
The RC125 shares its underpinnings and engine with the 125 Duke, although the fully-faired design and sportier ergonomics of the former are designed for the racetrack. The forward-leaning ergonomics are achieved with the use of clip-on style handlebar, while the full fairing design offers better aerodynamics than the naked roadster.
The KTM RC125 and the 125 Duke both use a trellis frame and ride on upside-down forks at the front. The rear features an adjustable monoshock suspension. The ride related data is displayed on the compact, full-digital screen with orange backlight. The RC125‘s feature list includes twin-pod projector style headlight instead of a halogen unit on the 125 Duke which is one of the reasons behind the relatively higher price tag for the fully-faired model.

Propelling tasks are performed by a 124.7 cc liquid-cooled, 4-Valve, DOHC, single-cylinder FI motor that churns out 14.5 PS at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. Dual disc brakes bring the motorcycle to a halt, while the safety net, unlike on the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0, includes a single-channel ABS.
