Ford has unveiled the Ford EcoSport Black Edition at the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show in Thailand. Announced with the 2016 Ford EcoSport in Thailand last week, the Black Edition benefits from a few cosmetic tweaks with a black theme. On the outside, the Ford EcoSport Black Edition features Piano Black grille, Piano Black door mirrors, 16-inch alloy wheels with Piano Black finish and Piano Black roof rails.
Like the standard 2016 Ford EcoSport, the Ford EcoSport Black Edition also features the new E85 compatible engine. It's a 1.5-litre Duratec Ti-VCT four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 110 hp at 6,000 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 4,400 rpm. The naturally aspirated engine sends power to the wheels via a 6-speed automatic transmission. Manual transmission isn't available in the special edition.
The Ford EcoSport Black Edition is available only in Black, Frozen White and Mars Red exterior colours and priced at 7,74,000 Baht in Thailand. The standard 2016 Ford EcoSport is offered in three trim levels at below mentioned prices.
