Ford EcoSport Black Edition introduced – Philippines

After Thailand, Ford has introduced the Ford EcoSport Black Edition in Philippines. The Black Edition is simply a visually sportier model, as there are no mechanical changes being mentioned. The Ford EcoSport Black Edition gets the black theme with black-coloured upper grille bezel, black-coloured lower grille surround, blacked-out headlamps with LED signature light, black-coloured foglamp bezel, black-coloured door mirrors and black-coloured 16-inch alloy wheels.
Other features of the Ford EcoSport Black Edition include roof cross bars, a rear spoiler, keyless swing gate, illuminated scuff plates, sports pedals, push-start button, SYNC 2 infotainment system and rear parking sensors. Powering the Ford EcoSport Black Edition, is the standard 1.5-litre TiVCT four-cylinder petrol engine that produces 110 PS (108 hp) at 6,300 rpm and 142 Nm of torque at 4,500 rpm.
Ford hasn't mentioned whether the engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or the 6-speed Powershift automatic transmission, but in its Thai specification, it gets the 6-speed Powershift automatic transmission.

The Ford EcoSport Black Edition is priced at PHP 9,98,000 Pesos (INR 14,40,687) and now available to order nationwide at Ford dealerships.
