India-made Ford Ka+ 'Black and White' edition launched - UK

Along with the launch of the Ford Ka+ in the U.K, Ford has introduced a new 'Black and White' edition of the compact hatchback which will be available to order later this year.

 

Based on the top-end Ford Ka+ Zetec variant, the Ka+ 'Black and White' edition contrasts a black body colour with white roof and door-mirrors, or a white body with black roof and door-mirrors.

Both versions are only available with the top-end 85 PS 1.2-litre Duratec engine mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It is capable of a combined fuel consumption of 20 km/l and has CO2 emissions of 114 g/km.

The Ford Ka+ is now available for sale in the U.K. Prices start from £8,995, and is available in two variants: Base and Zetec. Standard features on the Zetec variant include 15-inch Alloy wheels, SYNC voice-activated communications and entertainment system with AppLink, Leather wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, Cruise Control and Ford MyKey.

The Zetec can be equipped optionally with Electronic Automatic Climate Control (EATC), Heated front seats with driver armrest, Rear privacy glass, Spare wheel kit and a City Pack – which gives it rear parking sensors, power rear windows and heated power folding door mirrors.

The Ka+ is manufactured and exported to Europe and UK from Ford India's plant in Sanand, Gujarat.
