Harley-Davidson has launched the Street 750 at the Auto Expo today. The Street 750 and Street 500 had their world debuts at the International Motorcycle Exhibition (EICMA 2013) in Milan in November last year. Following that, the Street 750 was shown for the first time at the India Bike Week which was held in Goa in January this year.

The Street 750 is equipped with a liquid-cooled 750 cc V-Twin that features a single overhead cam, four valves per head and is mated to a six-speed transmission gearbox. The Street 750 measures 2,226 mm in length, 815 mm in width and has a ground clearance of 144 mm and a wheelbase of 1,704 mm. It has a torque output of 65 Nm. It gets a 13.1 liter fuel tank and weighs 218 kg.

The bike, Harley says, is built on an all-new platform (a new platform for Harley in over 13 years). The motorcycle is characterized by a tear-drop steel tank mated to a steel body and 7-spoke alloy wheels. Extensive customization options will be offered keeping inline with Harley's tradition for doing so. The Street 750 comes in two color options – red and black.

The bike is priced at INR 4.1 lakhs, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. It will be available from March 1.

The Street 750 for India is made at Harley-Davidson's plant located in Bawal, Haryana, India. This plant will also export the bike to other non-American markets.
