Honda 150SS Racer concept showcased at the BIMS 2017
The Honda 150SS Racer concept has not been officially confirmed for series production.
Honda Motor Thailand at the Bangkok International Motor Show 2017 has showcased the Honda 150SS Racer concept. The bike’s design philosophy traces its origins to the successful Honda Grom and to some extent the Husqvarna Vitpilen 401, especially around the headlamp.
Bearing the form of a cafe racer, the Honda 150SS Racer has a neo-retro charm attached to it. Powertrain details have not been revealed, but the engine is expected to be borrowed from the Honda CBR150R. The 149.4 cc single cylinder engine in the faired motorcycle is capable of producing 17.1 PS of maximum power at 9,000 rpm and 13.7 Nm of peak torque at 7,000 rpm.

The Honda 150SS Racer also gets two cameras, one at the and one below the instrumentations but the bike has no displays to show the feed. The short stubby exhaust looks appealing while the wheels seem to be made of carbon fibre.
The bike also gets disc brakes all around and an LCD instrumentation which looks to have been inspired from the Honda Grom.
