Not much details are given in the description other than the engines of the prototypes, which appear to be the 1.5L (1498 cc) i-DTEC turbodiesel unit. In the Honda Jazz, this engine produces 100 PS and 200 Nm of torque, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox.

Other than India, the Honda WR-V will also be introduced in Brazil, where it has been spotted testing on many occasions. Renders from various publications reveal that the exterior will feature a styling slightly distinctive from that of the Honda Jazz. It will be equipped the usual crossover bits such as black-plastic body cladding, chunkier tires, roof rails and silver skid plate.
