Honda 300TT Racer Concept patent filed
Honda hasn't announced production plans for the Honda 300 TT Racer Concept.
The Honda 300 TT Racer Concept was introduced at the 2016 Bangkok International Motor Show in March, previewing a retro cafe racer motorcycle. Now, according to MoreBikes, the company has filed a patent for this concept.
The patent application could be simply for protecting the concept's design and does not confirm a production cafe racer motorcycle.
The Honda 300 TT Racer Concept is built around the same frame as the Honda CBR300R and Honda CB300F, and also shares the 286 cc single-cylinder engine with the 300 series motorcycles. It however uses a completely new subframe to support its single-seat seating configuration and exceptionally shorter rear-end.

The motorcycle in the patent image doesn't seem a lot different from the one revealed as a concept in Thailand. However, on a closer look, the instrument panel, rear hugger and rear disc brake appear different, and the tail seems to have been extended further back.
