2017 Honda Activa 4G launched in Nepal
The Made in India 2017 Honda Activa 4G has been launched in Nepal at a price of Rs 1,98,900. The scooter was launched by Syakar Trading, the authorised retailer and distributor of Honda in Nepal.
The Activa 4G uses a 109.19 cc engine that generates 8 bhp of power at 7,500 rpm and 9 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The scooter employs trailing link front suspension and a single rear hydraulic shock absorber. The 2017 variant also gets underseat charging port to charge electronic devices. It gets Auto Headlamp On (AHO) as well.

The scooter uses 130 mm drums on both ends with Combi Brake System (CBS) as an option. On pulling the rear brake lever, CBS distributes the braking force to both front and rear improving vehicle control while braking. The scooter comes in two new colours - Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Matte Axis Grey Metallic.
In India, Honda recently inaugurated the fourth assembly line at its Narsapura plant, near Bengaluru. This takes Honda’s combined annual production capacity to 6.4 million units, which makes India the no.1 production hub for the company’s two-wheeler operations for the first time. In April, Honda’s cash cow reached the 1.5 crore unit cumulative production milestone. The Activa has also achieved the distinction of being the largest selling two-wheeler in India, in the financial year 2016-17.
