Honda of Indonesia has started a roadshow for the forthcoming BR-V, by exhibiting it in Bandung, the capital of Indonesia's West Java province. HPM (Honda Prospect Motor) plans on showcasing the BR-V in major cities, after it debuted the crossover at the GIIAS and IIMS shows last month.

The BR-V will launch in Indonesia early next year.

Thus far, HPM has received 1,600 bookings for the BR-V, which is expected to launch in Indonesia early next year. It will be offered in three trim levels - S, E and Prestige - with prices ranging from Rp. 230 million to Rp. 265 million (INR 10.83 lakhs and INR 12.48 lakhs).

All variants will be powered by a 1.5-liter four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine capable of 120 PS and 145 Nm of torque. A new 6-speed manual transmission will be offered on the BR-V, while a CVT will be available for those wanting an automatic.

Safety features on the BR-V include dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, VSA (Vehicle Stability Control) and HSA (Hill Start Assist). Other features on the crossover are projector headlights with LED positioning light, electrically retractable ORVMs, double blower AC, steering mounted controls and a 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

If launched in the Indian market, the BR-V will also get the 1.5-liter diesel engine.
