Honda BR-V teased for Thailand in all-new color - IAB Report

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Company has released the first teaser of the Honda BR-V ahead of its market-premiere at the 32nd Thailand International Motor Expo 2015 in Bangkok. The model was unveiled to the world at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2015) on 20th August.
The Honda BR-V is a 7-seater that measures 4,455 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width, 1,650 mm in height, 2,660 mm in wheelbase and 200 mm in ground clearance. It is powered by the familiar 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 120 PS and 145 Nm. The motor will be offered with a new six-speed manual transmission as standard and a CVT unit as an option depending on the market.
The salient features on the BR-V include projector headlamps with LED DRLs, electrically adjustable and foldable mirrors, 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering mounted controls, dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, VSA (Vehicle Stability Control) and HSA (Hill Start Assist).

The Honda BR-V will be manufactured in Indonesia (from January) and for Thailand it will be locally assembled at the company’s plant in Ayutthaya. The Thai-launch is expected to take place after the model hits showrooms in Indonesia next year.
