Engine is E85 compatible.

Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd. today revealed the Honda BR-V at the 2015 Thailand Motor Expo, in addition to showcasing the BR-V with Modulo accessories. Mr. Pitak Pruittisarikorn, Chief Operating Officer of Honda Automobile (Thailand) Co., Ltd., confirmed that the BR-V will launch in the Thai market next year.

For Thailand, Honda says the BR-V is powered by an E85-compatible version of the 1.5-liter SOHC, four-cylinder i-VTEC engine which develops 117 hp at 6,000 rpm and 146 Nm of torque at 4,700 rpm. For now, only a CVT gearbox has been confirmed for the Thai market, though in India and Indonesia, the BR-V gets an all-new 6-speed manual transmission as well.

Honda confirmed that the Thai-spec model will be equipped with safety features such as ABS, dual SRS airbags, EBD, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and Hill Start Assist (HAS). On the outside, the BR-V will get projector headlights with LED position lights, LED taillights and 16-inch alloy wheels.

The BR-V will first launch in Indonesia in the following weeks where it has received about 4,000 orders. Honda Cars India will showcase the crossover at the Auto Expo 2016, prior to its launch next fiscal year.
