Studio Shots - How different is the Honda Brio Amaze from the Brio?

We don't see Honda posting any official images for now, so we're publishing screen grabs from Honda's Thailand website featuring every angle and view of the Honda Brio Amaze that was launched a few hours back in Thailand.

The Brio Amaze is stationed on the extended Brio platform. It has a 1.2-liter petrol engine that returns 20kpl. There is an 'Eco Meter' in the instrument console that promotes eco-friendly driving. The entire instrument console has been carried over from the hatchback.

The only change we can spot on the dashboard is the color of the glove box lid. It is dark brown instead of beige. Honda Thailand has omitted the heater and defogger option in both Brio and the Amaze. These will certainly have to feature in the Indian-spec car.

The front seats come with integrated headrests. Moving to the rear, there is a foldable arm rest on the rear seat. The bench appears a bit more cushy, with extra bolstering around the C-Pillar area, but shockingly height-adjustable headrests have been overlooked.

The rear doors are a bit longer and the so are the windows, which now have a quarter glass panel.

Rear passengers get individual controls for the window and there is a cup holder on the door. These are missing on the Brio.

The Thai-spec model lacks foglights, which is a must for the Indian car. The other obvious omission is the diesel option, which is the heartbeat for the Indian operations.
