Honda Brio facelift to launch in India this year - Report
Facelift unveiled at the IIMS 2016 in Indonesia.
Honda Indonesia unveiled the 2016 Honda Brio Satya and Brio RS at the IIMS 2016, which have been thoroughly facelifted for a sportier look. Overdrive reports that the changes will be introduced to the India-spec model later this year.
As seen at its unveil on the IIMS show floor, the 2016 Honda Brio features similar changes that we have seen in the 2016 Honda Amaze, such as a larger radiator intake, faux intakes that house the foglamps, bolder dual slat black plastic grille that houses an upright Honda logo. The only change to the rear-end is the addition of a bold chrome bar.
Inside, the Brio features a dashboard sourced from the Honda BR-V, which is accentuated with faux silver and integrates a mix of matte plastic and piano black trim materials that are well put together and add a premium feel to Honda’s entry level hatchback. It also gets a single-pod instrument cluser, 2-DIN JVC head unit and new HVAC controls with a dedicated digital display.

The 5-speed automatic has now been replaced for Earth Dreams Technology CVT, while a five-speed manual gearbox remains standard.
