The bike comes in ABS and non-ABS variants, as well as three limited edition models.

The design of the bike is based on the 'ExMotion…Life in Exciting Motion' concept. The concept motorcycle it is based on is the Honda 150SS Racer, showcased at the 2017 BIMS.

The motorcycle draws power from a 149cc DOHC 4-valve engine with fuel injection and liquid cooling. The powerplant meets Euro 6 emission standards and pairs with a 6-speed transmission. The engine sits inside an Inner Pivot type diamond type frame. The bike gets a 41 mm upside down front fork, which is identical to the one in Honda X-ADV 750. The rear employs a monoshock unit.

For braking, the bike features a 296 mm front disc with radial mount 4 pot callipers coupled to ABS and G Sensor that have been borrowed from the Honda CBR1000RR. The rear uses a 220 mm disc with ABS as well. A 110-section front and 150-section rear wrap the 17 inch alloy wheels. The bike gets a full-LED lighting system and a multifunction digital LCD instrument console.

The CB150R ExMotion is now available at Honda Wing Center branches nationwide. The standard non-ABS model comes in four colours: Pearl Cadet Gray, Millennium Red, Mat Laurel Green Metallic, and Asteroid Black Metallic, with an introductory price starting from THB 99,800. The ABS variant comes in two colours: Gray-black and Black, with an introductory price starting from THB 109,800.
