Honda teases compact SUV Concept for Auto Shanghai 2015 - IAB Report
Previews a new SUV for the Chinese market exclusively.
Honda has announced plans of unveiling an all new SUV concept at the Auto Shanghai 2015, which will offer a preview of a new production-spec model exclusive to the Chinese market. The concept is jointly developed by Honda's subsidiaries in China: Guangqi Honda Automobile and Dongfeng Honda Automobile.
Honda hasn't posted any further details on the concept nor the production-spec model that will soon follow, although there were reports that it could be based on the CR-V's platform. Also, there were rumors that Guangqi Honda were looking to add a new SUV to their lineup since the CR-V is sold exclusively by Dongfeng Honda.
At the moment, it's unclear if the concept previews a production spec model that could be exclusive to Guangqi Honda, or sold by both subsidiaries.
