The Honda CR-V Plus+ limited edition with additional goodies has been launched in Australia. The Plus+ edition is available only in the entry level VTi trim and is offered in both 2WD and 4WD configurations.

The Honda CR-V Plus+ adds an array of goodies at an additional cost of AUD 1,000.

The powertrain lineup of the Australian CR-V is same as the India-spec model. The base 2.0-litre motor generates 152.8 bhp and 190 Nm of torque, and is available only in front wheel drive configuration. The more powerful 2.4-litre mill develops 187.7 bhp and 226 Nm of torque, sending power to all the wheels. The special edition is available only in the variants that are equipped with a 5-speed automatic transmission.

Sales of the CR-V in Australia has dropped by 32.5% this year to 5,037 units. The soft roader is currently the fifth best selling car in its segment after the Mazda CX-5, Toyota RAV4, Subaru Forester and the Nissan X-Trail.

The Honda CR-V Plus+ edition is dearer than respective regular variants by AUD 1,000 (INR 56,000). The CR-V 2WD VTi Plus+ retails for AUD 30,790 (around INR 17.34 lakhs) while the top-end CR-V 4WD VTi will set you back by AUD 33,790 (around INR 19.03 lakhs).
