Honda CRF150L prototype - GIIAS 2017 Live
The prototype version of the Honda CRF150L has been revealed at the 2017 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show. The bike sports Russian motocross champion from HRC- Evgeny Bobryshev’s trademark ‘777’ livery.
Powering this motorcycle is a 149.2 cc single cylinder unit. The engine uses fuel injection and works in tandem with a 5-speed transmission. The chassis seems to be a semi double-cradle frame, like the one the Honda CRF150F uses. The bike features Showa long-travel inverted forks at the front and a monoshock with linkage at the rear. For anchorage, the bike uses disc brakes on both ends.

The underseat exhaust is from Yoshimura. An 80/100 section front and a 100/100 section rear Pirelli tyres wrap the 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels respectively. Despite the lack of a headlight, the bike looks production ready. Expect the final product to be road-legal, complete with lighting systems.
In related developments, this month, Honda’s popular 150cc naked bike, the CB150R Street Fire gained new colours in Indonesia, and the brand is expecting to sell 14,000 units of the motorcycle annually. In the Indian market, Honda offers its flagship adventure tourer, the Africa Twin. It is also the biggest capacity motorcycle which the brand assembles in India.
