Bookings commence for Honda HR-V (Honda Vezel) compact SUV - Malaysia
To be launched in February.
Honda has started accepting bookings for its HR-V crossover in Malaysia. The manufacturer is currently showcasing the yet to be launched HR-V around the country via a series of roadshows. The vehicle will go on sale in February this year.
To be powered by a 1.8-litre iVTEC engine that makes 139 hp at 6,500 rpm and 172 Nm at 4,300 rpm in Thai and Australian versions of the vehicle, power figures are expected to be similar on the Malaysia spec vehicle too. It will be available in three trim levels, namely the base 'S', followed by the 'E', and the top-spec 'V'.
The feature list for the range-topping V trim level include things like six airbags, LED headlamps, taillamps, and daytime running lamps, cruise control, a 6-speaker and 7-inch touchscreen-based entertainment system, keyless entry and push-button start. The report further continues that the 17-inch alloys seen elsewhere would be swapped for 16 inchers for the Malaysian market.
