Honda Navi reaches 1 lakh sales milestone in India

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has today announced that the Honda Navi has reached a sales milestone of 1 lakh customers.

The 2018 Honda Navi is available in six paint schemes with two new colour options - Ladakh Brown and Ranger Green.

The Honda Navi is the first two-wheeler from Honda to be wholly designed, developed and manufactured by the Honda R&D India. It was launched at Auto Expo 2016. Last month, the company introduced the 2018 Honda Navi in India, priced at INR 44,775 (ex-showroom Delhi). Speaking about the momentous achievement, Mr. Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Senior Vice President - Sales & Marketing for Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. said, -

The unconventional design, looks and endless possibilities of customization have helped us to engage young 2Wheeler enthusiasts not only in India but around the world. They all are enjoying the Navi fun ride & exploring unique customization options.”

The Honda Navi is currently exported to 10 countries and will be available in two new international markets - Dominican Republic and Costa Rica, before the end of this year. The 2018 Navi is available in six paint schemes - Ranger Green, Ladakh Brown, Black, Shasta White, Patriot Red, and Sparky Orange. Honda offers various customisation options for the Navi in India.

The 2018 Honda Navi features a metal muffler protector, stylish new fuel gauge, body coloured grab rail and rear-view mirrors, sporty red cushion spring and headlight cover. It uses a 109.19 cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke, two-valve engine that is tuned to generate 7.83 bhp of maximum power at 7,000 rpm while developing 8.96 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The V-Matic CVT feeds power to the wheels.

An under-bone type chassis suspends the Honda Navi, which features 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels that run on 90/90 R12 and 90/100 R10 tubeless tires. Suspension hardware includes telescopic forks at the front and a spring-loaded hydraulic mono-shock at the back.

The Honda Navi offers immense practicality with an accessible seat height of 765 mm and a mere 101 kg kerb weight. The moped has a fuel tank capacity of 3.8-litres, and it can sprint to a top speed of 81 km/h. Braking performance is aided by a 130 mm drum brake setup at the front and back.
