Over 5,000 units of the Honda Navi sold, now available in 10 cities

The Honda Navi was launched in the first week of February at the Auto Expo 2016, though dealer dispatch and customer deliveries did not start until the second week of March 2016. As of May 6, 2016, the Honda Navi was available in 7 cities, and as of today, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) has sold over 5,000 units of the two-wheeler.

The Honda Navi is powered by the Activa's 110 cc engine.

The Honda Navi is now available in 10 cities including Delhi, Gurgaon, Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, and Indore. Developed wholly by the Indian R&D team of HMSI, the first Navi was delivered in Noida over the weekend.

The Navi was launched at INR 39,500, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. The on-road price of the Navi in the capital comes up to INR 46,600, while the cost of basic accessories like registration plates, side stand and leg-guard adds a further INR 5,000. The fully-accessorized variants are expected to cost nearly INR 60,000.

Power for the Honda Navi comes from the same 110 cc single-cylinder engine with HET (Honda Eco Technology) that is seen on the Honda Activa 3G. The engine develops 7.83 hp at 7,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.96 Nm at 5,500 rpm, and is mated to the V-matic transmission (CVT). The Honda Navi can attain a top speed of 81 km/h.
