Honda Navi sales drops to 284 units in April 2017 - Report
Honda's new concept for Indian youth has not clicked.
The Honda Navi, an Indian innovation from design to production stage, launched at the Auto Expo last February for a price of under INR 39,500. The company sold nearly 50,000 units in the first year, double the target set at the launch, but sales have dropped considerably in recent months. As per a report in Car and Bike, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India Pvt Ltd sold just 284 units of the Honda Navi in April 2017.
The Honda Navi uses many components including the powertrain from the Honda Activa. The 109.19 cc HET (Honda Eco Technology) engine is coupled to a V-matic continuously variable transmission. It develops 8 PS of power at 7,000 rpm and 8.96 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm.
