Honda Super Cub launched in Thailand at THB 47,100

AP Honda, the authorised distributor of Honda motorcycles in Thailand has launched the all-new Honda Super Cub in the country.

The company also launched the Honda CB300R in the country.

The new Honda Super Cub is available now at Honda Wing Center, nationwide with a suggested price of THB 47,100. The Super Cub comes in six colour variants. The USP of the Super Cub is its retro-modern design. It features a circular LED headlight and retro indicators. The two-tone seats are of split type, and the instrument cluster is an analogue unit with gear position indicator.

Powering the new Honda Super Cub is a 109.17 cc single cylinder SOHC engine with air cooling and fuel injection. The mill pairs with a 4-speed transmission. It generates 8 PS of power at 7,500 rpm and 8.5 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine is compatible with unleaded gasoline; or gasohol; 95 or 91 octane fuels with an ethyl alcohol content of not more than 20%.

The front rack is ideal to keep small knick-knacks.

Coming to the suspension bits, the Super Cub features telescopic front fork, and twin rear shock absorbers. Drum brakes on both ends handle the braking responsibility. The 17-inch spoke wheels are shod with 70-section rubber at the front and 80-section unit at the rear. The fuel tank can hold 4.2 litres of juice, and the claimed efficiency stands at 60.1 km/l.
