EICMA 2014 Live - Honda True Adventure Prototype

Previews a possible adventure tourer.

The Honda True Adventure Prototype has been unveiled at the ongoing EICMA 2014 motorcycle expo in Milan, Italy.

Inspired by Honda's recent Dakar program, the True Adventure Prototype "captures the product direction as Honda seeks to expand its presence in the Adventure segment". The company adds that the prototype is developed to offer outstanding off-road capability and provide a base for a round-the-world motorcycle.

No technical information is available as of now. In terms of styling, the lean and tall motorcycle is every bit of an adventure tourer. The fairing houses twin headlamps and a large windscreen. The off-roader is devoid on centre panels, exposing the tubular trellis frame.

The suspension system consists of a front telescopic unit and rear monoshock with two-sided swing arm. Other notable features include twin discs upfront and off-road tyres.
