Hyosung Aquila Pro now comes with ABS
DSK Hyosung has silently introduced the Hyosung Aquila Pro with dual-channel ABS. As per the dealers, the booking amount stands at INR 1 lakh, and the on-road Chennai price is INR 6.5 lakhs. Delivery time ranges from 1-1.5 months. It may vary from dealer to dealer.
The mechanicals are the same as the non-ABS version. The Hyosung Aquila Pro has traditional, chrome-laden cruiser looks backed by a powerful engine. The 647 cc V-twin DOHC water cooled mill makes a healthy 74 bhp at 9,000 rpm. A peak torque of 62.1 Nm arrives at 7,500 rpm. The engine pairs with a 5-speed transmission, which sends power to the wheel via a belt drive.

The cruiser rides on upside down front fork and twin rear shock absorbers. For braking, it uses double discs at the front and a single disc at the rear, both with ABS as standard. The 18-inch front and the 17-inch rear get 120-section and 180-section tyres respectively. With a 16-litre fuel tank, the motorcycle tips the scales at 240 kg (kerb weight).
The introduction of ABS makes the bike even more alluring for the price. It locks horns with the Kawasaki Vulcan S, and the upcoming Royal Enfield 650 Twins. The Aquila Pro comes in three colours- Shadow Black, Lava Red and Phantom Silver. The cruiser comes with a two-year/25,000 km warranty.
