Hyundai i30 Fastback profile
Hyundai will offer the Hyundai i30 Fastback with 120 PS 1.0-litre T-GDI and 140 PS 1.4-litre T-GDI petrol engines.

Compared to the i30, the Hyundai i30 Fastback does not differ much up until the A-Pillar. From here on, drastic changes take shape, with the Fastback sporting a sloping roofline that graciously merges into the tailgate integrated spoiler. From the front three-quarters, some may even find the car reminiscent of the Porsche Panamera. At the rear, the concave shape of the upper and lower body lends a very sporty appeal to the car.

The Hyundai i30 Fastback has a length of 4,455 mm, putting it 115 mm longer than the Hyundai i30. The lowered roof (-25 mm) and chassis have reduced the height by 30 mm to 1,425 mm. The i30 Fastback's boot space is 450 litres, while the i30's boot space is 395 litres.

Hyundai will offer the Hyundai i30 Fastback with 120 PS 1.0-litre T-GDI turbocharged three-cylinder and 140 PS 1.4-litre T-GDI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engines at launch. Transmission choices include 6-speed manual and 7-speed dual-clutch (1.4L T-GDI only). Both engines have Integrated Stop and Go (ISG) system as standard. An 110 PS/136 PS 1.6-litre turbocharged diesel engine will join the powertrain line-up later. Hyundai will offer the diesel model in 6-MT and 7-DCT models.

On the inside, the Hyundai i30 Fastback is not any different from the i30 and i30 Wagon. It does have a unique Merlot red colour scheme option, however. In equipment, the Hyundai i30 gets full LED DRLs, darkened headlamps, 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and Qi wireless charging.
