Elite i20 is the current best seller for the company.

Exports witnessed a dip from 16,705 units in March 2014 to 10,215 units last month. One of the reasons for the drop in exports is because the i20 (and the i10) for Europe is now supplied by the Turkish plant. HMIL also recorded the highest ever sales for a financial year at 4,20,668 units.

Strong products in the compact segment have helped Hyundai increase its market share in India. 2014 saw the launch of the Elite i20 (which became the best seller for the brand), and the Xcent compact sedan. For 2015, HMIL have launched the Verna facelift and the i20-based pseudo-crossover, the i20 Active.

The major launch from Hyundai's stable this year, the ix25 compact SUV, is reported to take place in the month of August or September.
