BMW Group Indonesia has unveiled the facelifted 2016 BMW 3 Series at the 2015 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS 2015). Compared to the outgoing model, it features minor design and equipment updates.

Up front, the 2016 3 Series LCI (Life Cycle Impulse) comes with a re-profiled front bumper housing a pair of revised air intakes. The facelift adds Adaptive LED headlights as optional equipment , while Bi-Xenon lights are standard. At the back, it gets a sculpted bumper and new LED clusters for L-shaped taillights.

Unlike the exterior, changes are minimal inside the 2016 BMW 3 Series. It sports chrome highlights for the center console, AC vents and controls, while the cup holders in the floor console get a new sliding cover.

The 2016 BMW 3 Series will retain the current engine lineup, save for the new 340i variant that replaces the 335i. It is powered by a twin-turbo inline-six cylinder engine delivering 326 PS and 450 Nm of torque.

Other engines include a 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine producing 252 PS and 350 Nm, and a 2.0-liter four-cylinder diesel motor producing 190 PS and max torque of 400 Nm.

The car is priced starting at IDR 665 million (INR 31.46 lakhs) in Indonesia.
