It gets a conventional knob for volume control and an interesting Honda NSX-inspired buttons for the automatic transmission. The instrument display is a TFT unit similar to the Honda Civic, and the centre console houses a 7-inch touchscreen display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

For Thailand, the Honda CR-V can be had with a 2.4L i-VTEC N/A petrol engine and a new 1.6L i-DTEC turbodiesel engine. Headlight Mag got to experience the diesel variant, which produces 160 hp at 4,000 rpm and 350 Nm at 2,000 rpm. They claim that the diesel engine is quiet at idling and, on the move, torque delivery is linear across the power band, a characteristic Honda diesel trait. It is paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox as standard. It is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 10.3 seconds.

Expect Honda to introduce to new CR-V in India this year with good localisation.
