The India-bound Jaguar F-Pace was unveiled at the 2015 IAA and was showcased at the 2015 Tokyo Motor Show.

Featuring an exterior design identical to that of the Jaguar C-X17 concept, the Jaguar F-Pace gets the company's typical mesh grille, large air intakes, optional LED head lamps and slender LED tail lamps that is reminiscent of the Jaguar F-Type.

Despite being an SUV, the Jaguar F-Pace is being developed to have more mettle on tarmac than off-road, featuring the chassis technology inspired by the Jaguar F-Type. The SUV is based on the company's all-new iQ aluminium intensive platform that also underpins the Jaguar XE and the 2016 Jaguar XF.

The base Jaguar F-Pace comes with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Ingenium diesel engine in Europe. For China, expect the car with the 3.0-liter V6 petrol.

The F-Pace is reported to be more of a high-stance Jag that handles as effortlessly as the company's executive sedans. It will be offered with features such as a torque vectoring system and an EPS (Electronic Power Steering) and in-car features like InControl touch system for infotainment, Meridian audio system and Head-Up display.
