Indian Chief Dark Horse priced in India at INR 22 lakhs - IAB Report

Blacked out Indian Chief Classic minus the rear seat

Within a matter of days after Indian Motorcycles launched the Indian Chief Dark Horse in North America and UK, the company has now launched the blacked out version of the Indian Chief in India.

Indian motorcycles are imported into the country through the CBU route.

The India Chief Dark Horse gets a fully blacked out treatment from head to toe. Almost all chrome bits found on the Indian Chief Classic have been replaced with a matte black effect, including the forks, handlebars, engine and most of the bodywork. The Dark Horse would be available as a single seater in standard form from the showroom with the option of fitting a rear seat at extra cost.

The Indian Chief Dark Horse retains the same Thunder Stroke 111, 1,811 cc, oil-cooled, V-twin from the Chief Classic, which is capable of producing 161 Nm of torque. The new models also retain other important features like ABS, keyless ignition, electronic cruise control from the Chief Classic.

The motorcycle carries over the Thunder Stroke engine.
