The market launch is expected to unfold in the coming weeks in Malaysia.

This follows the Isuzu D-Max Diablo edition that went on sale last year in limited numbers (300 units). Given that Toyota launched the all new Hilux in Malaysia, it doesn't come as a surprise that Isuzu is announcing a special edition to woo customers. Currently there are no details on the number of examples that Isuzu will build or the variant the D-Max Beast Edition is based on.

From the spyshots, the Isuzu D-Max Beast Edition will, as its name says, feature aggressive elements for a butch appearance. It rides on matte black multi-spoke alloy wheels, black decals across the side profile and black plastic extensions around the fenders and side sills. The chrome accents on the ORVMs, grille, headlamps, taillamps, sports bar, door handles and roof rails are finished in gloss black.
