Jaguar F-Pace EV could launch by 2018 - Report
Could be more luxury oriented than the F-Pace.
The Jaguar F-Pace could spawn an all-electric version to benefit from the ZEV (Zero Emission Vehicle) norms in the U.S., the expected rise of zero electric zones in global cities like London, and Chinese inclination towards such vehicles, reports Autocar UK.
The partnership between Jaguar and Williams could be put to use for the all-electric version of the F-Pace. Like the standard F-Pace, the aluminium-intensive iQ platform could also underpin the electric version. But instead of driving dynamics, the priority here will be luxury, says the report.

Jaguar F-Pace petrol and diesel variants
The regular F-Pace, which will arrive on the European market next year, is basically the production version of the C-X17 concept crossover. It will get an all-wheel drive system, advanced suspension, and will derive power from four cylinder Ingenium units, 3-litre V6, and the range topping V8 engines currently available in JLR's line up, claim reports.
Spotted testing recently, the vehicle is expected to be around 40 mm longer than the Range Rover Evoque, and will be produced at the company's plant in Solihull, UK.
