Jaguar XJR575 showcased at IAA 2017 - Live

Jaguar has showcased its new performance saloon car, the Jaguar XJR575 at the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show. Here are the sedan’s live images from the event.

The Jaguar XJR575 is the most powerful XJ. The performance car comes in two new paint schemes from Special Vehicle Operations division. The car measures 5,130 mm in length; 2,105 mm in width, including mirrors and 1,460 mm in height. The wheelbase stands at 3,032 mm. Updated exterior badging and twin bonnet louvres mark the vehicle out from the rest of the range. The car also features 20-inch Farallon gloss-black wheels with red brake callipers. The rear spoiler, side sills, front bumper and lower air intakes get gloss black surrounds. The headlights are adaptive LED units.

Coming to the interior, the car features an enhanced Touch Pro Infotainment system which includes a larger 10-inch touchscreen and 4G Wi-Fi. Handcrafted veneer runs around the cabin, while the layered instrument panel, complete with Jaguar signature ‘Riva Hoop’ continues into the door panel. The rear passenger compartment of the LWB variant includes two individual 'airline style' reclining seats featuring cushion and squab adjustment, three massage programs, lumbar adjustment and two memory settings for optimum comfort.

The performance saloon draws power from a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 engine. It pushes out 575 PS of power and a massive 700 Nm of torque with the eight-speed automatic ZF transmission. This mill helps the car to sprint from 0-100 kmph in 4.4 seconds and have a top speed of 300 kmph. The combined fuel efficiency according to EU legislation stands at 9 km/l. Electronic Active Differential enables fine control of power delivery and maximises traction.

Notable safety features include Lane Keep Assist and Driver Condition Monitoring, apart from forward traffic detection and Autonomous Emergency Braking.
