Classic Legends commenced the deliveries of the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two in India at the end of last month. The company is offering several accessories to customise the motorcycles via its dealership network. Here's a video showing some of these official fitments.

The video shows a Jawa Forty-Two equipped with a crash guard, pillion backrest and a luggage rack. Unlike the motorcycle showcased at the launch event, it has conventionally placed rear-view mirrors instead of bar-end mounted units. The bar-end mirrors should also be available as optional accessories, though. The centre-stand, too, should be available as an optional extra.

Soon after starting the deliveries of the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two, Classic Legends announced the ARAI-certified fuel economy for both, the Jawa Classic and Forty-Two - 37.5 km/l. In comparison, the Royal Enfield Classic 350 delivers 37 km/l (ARAI-certified). The Jawa Classic and Jawa Forty-Two share a 293 cc single cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that makes a maximum power of 27 bhp and 28 Nm of peak torque.

The Jawa Classis and Forty-Two are sold-out until September 2019, but they are available for backorder. The drum brake variants of the Jawa Classic and Jawa Forty-Two with single-channel ABS are priced at INR 1,64,000* and INR 1,55,000* respectively. The rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS variants cost INR 1,72,942* and INR 1,63,942* respectively. Customers can also avail special rates under the motorcycle exchange program across all Jawa dealerships through Mahindra First Choice Wheels.

Jawa will start the bookings for the Perak Bobber post-September 2019. The bobber will cost at INR 1.89 lakh*.
