Jawa Forty-Two Cafe Racer by Autologue Design
Pune-based Autologue Design, a company that makes body kits and accessories for motorcycles, is proposing a classic café racer version of the Jawa Forty-Two through renders. The company is not planning this kit for production immediately.
While we have brought out a rendering of the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 Classic Café Racer, Autologue's Jawa Forty-Two Café Racer takes the game further ahead depicting it with a classic café-racer style semi-fairing with extended scoops and a single-seat with a cowl. The motorcycle features sleek tyres.
Autologue Design have retained the overall design of the stock Jawa Forty-Two. The round fuel-tank, side panels and the mudguard are carried over from the Forty-two, while the suspension and wheels are retained as well. That said, the motorcycle features clip-on handlebars to complete the café racer styling.
At present, Jawa Motorcycles doesn’t plan new product introductions in the country. The third motorcycle, the Jawa Perak factory custom bobber, is set to go on sale by the end of this year.
Jawa Motorcycles have received an overwhelming response for its bikes in India, which command a waiting period of up to six months. In fact, the company has seized online bookings for the Jawa classic and the Forty-Two to cater to the rising demand for both the motorcycles. It was reported that it plans to make 90,000 bikes in the first year, prioritizing quality over quantity.
