Jawa & Jawa Forty-Two official TVC released
Classic Legends launched the Jawa and the Jawa Forty-Two in India and unveiled the Jawa Perak factory-custom bobber on November 14. The company has now released the TVC on its YouTube channel.
Classic Legends has successfully taken the Jawa legacy ahead by maintaining the authentic classic design. The Jawa, priced at INR 1.64 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), is a tribute to the original bike. On the other hand, the Jawa Forty-Two is the modern-retro version of the classic, priced at INR 1.55 lakh (ex-showroom).
Both the bikes will compete with the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Thunderbird 350. Powering the Jawa and the Jawa Forty-Two is a 293cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine with twin exhaust ports. The BS-VI compliant engine churns out 27 bhp of max power and a peak torque of 28 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Classic design has been the highlight of the new Jawa motorcycles. The bikes feature a cylindrical fuel tank, round headlight dome, large fenders and a wide handlebar. The bikes ride on an 18-inch front and a 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheel that pair with MRF Nylogrip Zapper tube-type tyres.
