Kawasaki has silently introduced the Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition in India. The KRT Edition (Kawasaki Racing Team Edition) is essentially a differently styled standard model.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition's colour scheme is similar to the one on the Kawasaki factory racing team in the World Superbike Championship.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition has launched as a replacement to the Kawasaki Ninja Special Edition that was launched at INR 3.61 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai) in November 2015. The KRT Edition is available at the same price as the Special Edition, reports Motorbeam.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition features black and green livery, Kawasaki Racing Team stickers, 'KRT' badges near the fuel cap and black fairing (bottom portion). This colour scheme is similar to what is on the Kawasaki factory racing team in the World Superbike Championship.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition is mechanically no different from the standard Kawasaki Ninja 300.

The Kawasaki Ninja 300 KRT Edition is mechanically no different from the standard Kawasaki Ninja 300. It's powered by a 296 cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that delivers 39 PS at 11,000 rpm and 27 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm, mated to a 6-speed transmission.

2016 is probably the last year of the current Ninja 300, as a completely redesigned new generation model, is reportedly coming sometime next year.
