Kawasaki Ninja 400 gets two new colour options in India

Kawasaki India has expanded the colour palette for the Ninja 400 with the addition of two new options - Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green and Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition). Both paint options, however, are limited to just 10 units each. The 400 cc bike costs the same in these colours as in the regular colours - INR 4.99 lakh*. The deliveries of the orders specified in the new colours will start by the end of September 2019.

The Lime Green/Ebony (KRT Edition) is identical to the colour option that was introduced in the Japanese market in August this year. The base Lime Green paint is complemented by Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) graphics. The black and gold highlights across the body and a shade of red on the bottom part of the fairing give it an appealing look. The Metallic Spark Black/Lime Green option, on the other hand, features a relatively subtle look. Metallic Spark Black acts as the base colour, and the Lime Green highlights and the stealthy Ninja branding on the fairing work really well together.

The new colour options aim to boost sales during the high demand festive season. The Kawasaki Ninja 400 uses a BS-IV compliant 399 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8-valve engine with fuel injection tech that pumps out 49 PS of peak power at 10,000 rpm and 38 Nm of maximum torque at 8,000 rpm. The motor comes linked to a six-speed transmission.

Full-LED headlight, an LED taillight, fairing integrated front blinkers and split-style seat are the equipment highlights of the Kawasaki Ninja 400. Anchoring hardware comprises 310 mm petal disc at the front and a 220 mm petal disc – both featuring dual-piston callipers. Shock absorption tasks are handled by 41 mm telescopic front forks and pre-load adjustable rear monoshock.
