Kawasaki Versys-X 250 Tourer - GIIAS 2017 Live

Kawasaki has showcased its quarter litre adventure motorcycle, the Versys-X 250 at the 2017 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show. This particular motorcycle is the Tourer edition and comes with touring-friendly add-ons like the crash bars, auxiliary lights, hand-guards, DC outlet and twin hard-case panniers at the rear.

The Versys-X 250 Tourer is powered by a 249 cc parallel twin DOHC, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed transmission. The bike uses 41 mm telescopic fork at the front and a gas-charged Uni-Trak monoshock at the rear.

A 100-section tyre wraps the 19-inch front spoke wheel; while a 130-section rubber wraps the 17-inch rear wheel. For anchorage, the bike uses a 290 mm petal disc at the front and 220 mm rear disc. For customers purchasing the bike, Kawasaki is offering a free Nolan N86 helmet and the offer is valid from 1 August to 31 October 2017.

Additionally, on the purchase of a Kawasaki motorcycle at the expo, customers can avail free Kawasaki Road Service (KRS) for a year. The package is valid for any in any city in Indonesia. In the event of a breakdown, one can call KRS, and a towing vehicle will assist. KRS also delivers fuel in case one runs out of it. However, the fuel is chargeable.
