Kia delivers 6,200 units of Seltos in India in August

The Kia Seltos is off to a blazing start in India. Over 23,000 pre-bookings were received in just 20 days. By the end of August, its first month of sales, 6,200 units were delivered. This is a huge feat in itself considering the fact that the sale number is just for a period of 8 days.

The prices of the Kia Seltos start at INR 9.69 lakh*. This highly attractive starting price sure has a lot to do with the high demand. Though the contribution of the base variant in the overall sales figures is yet to be seen. The Hyundai Creta, for reference, is priced from INR 9.60 lakh*.

To ensure a smooth demand-supply chain and keeping the waiting period at a manageable level, Kia is already considering ramping up the production levels by starting a second shift at its factory. Kia has left no stones unturned in order to make sure that their debut product becomes a hit. From eye-catching exteriors to sophisticated interiors, and then the spot-on pricing, the Seltos has covered all aspects needed to hit the market by storm.

The Seltos is offered in two styles - Tech Line and GT Line. Its Tech Line equipment trims include E, K, K+, X and X+, while GT Line has K, X and X+ as the equipment trims. Its comfort and convenience features include, electric sunroof, 2-step reclining rear seats, ventilated front seats along with power adjustment for the driver seat, 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, embedded navigation, split-screen function and UVO connected vehicle technologies, 7-inch driver information display and first-in-segment 8-inch head-up display.
