Kia Picanto facelift - 2015 Geneva Live

Optionally available with larger front brakes. 

The 2015 Kia Picano (facelift) premiered at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show today. Besides seeing a minor update to the Tiger Nose grille, the Picanto facelift also gets new front and rear bumpers.

Buyers can choose a newly-designed 14-inch alloy wheel, while those interested in a sportier look can opt for a Sport pack.

Inside, new chrome accents surrounding the driver’s instrument binnacle and dashboard AC vents, and a new cloth upholstery pattern summarize the changes.

Feature additions come in the form of Kia’s AVN (audio-video navigation) system with a large 7.0-inch display, cruise control and a speed limiter.

For those into customizations, Kia will offer three interior color packs: Red, Yellow and Brown. All of them get artificial leather seats as standard.

Mechanically, the Picanto facelift will now get optional 252 mm front brakes (increased from 241 mm), allowing the car to stop from 100 km/h in 37 metres – an improvement of 2 metres. Minor modifications have also been made to the 1.0-litre MPI engine to meet Euro 6 emissions standards.
