The Austrian bike maker has taken the Super Duke 1290 naked superbike's 1,301 cc V-twin engine and fastened it to the 1190 Adventure's chassis. The result is a supremely capable sports tourer.

The liquid cooled 75° V-twin engine is capable of 160 hp and 150 Nm of torque. The motor is mated to a 6-speed gearbox via a hydraulically operated anti-hopping clutch.

Visually, the big Adventure can be primarily distinguished from its smaller sibling by means of subtly revised tank extensions and an exclusive white and black color theme. LED cornering lights come standard on all variants.

The 1290 Super Adventure, just like the 1190 Adventure, is held together by a tubular chrome molybdenum steel space frame and is suspended by WP inverted telescopic fork upfront and WP monoshock at the rear. Stopping power is courtesy of four-piston twin discs at the front and a two-piston single disc at the rear. The fuel tank capacity is pegged at 30 liters.
