Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition - 2015 Geneva Live

Deliveries to begin this year.

Announced last year, the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition has debuted at the 2015 Geneva Motor Show. Lamborghini and popular tyre-maker Pirelli celebrate their longstanding partnership with the introduction of the special edition based on the Aventador LP700-4, deliveries of which are scheduled for summer this year.

Mechanically unchanged, the vehicle is splashed with a two-tone paint, a transparent engine cover, and contrasting black roof, pillars, rear-view mirrors, engine hood, and air intakes. It also gets black Dione wheels (20-inch at the front, 21-inch at the rear), red brake calipers on the white show car, and red lettering on the tyres.

Use of the colour red continues around the body as accents on the rear bumper, and pinstripes on the roof. On the inside, the special edition gets red stitching, and a red stripe along the seats and the roof.

Powering the car is a naturally aspirated 6.5-litre V12 engine that makes 700 PS at 8,250 rpm and 690 Nm at 5,500 rpm, that comes mated to a seven-speed gearbox. Power is sent to all four wheels and the car takes just 2.9 seconds to reach 100 km/h from a standstill, while its top speed is rated at 350 km/h.

It will be available in both coupe and roadster versions, and will sport exclusive Pirelli edition badges. There will be two colour choices - a matte black paint for the above mentioned parts and a glossy paint for the body, or glossy black for the parts and a matte black paint for the body.
